Target Market Strategy

“Guided by marketing strategy, the company designs an integrated marketing mix made up of factors under its control—product, price, place, and promotion (the four Ps). To find the best marketing strategy and mix, the company engages in marketing analysis, planning, implementation, and control. Through these activities, the company watches and adapts to the actors and forces in the marketing environment.” – Marketing: An Introduction, 49

Our marketing strategy is to serve as many customers to the best of our ability without compromising out product. Of course it is almost impossible t serve all customers because every customer is different. Differentiation and positioning comes into play. We want to make sure that we are seeing how customers respond to different marketing ideas for our product so that we can stand out from the rest in a chip isle. Our product is high quality so positioning is important because we do want customers to pay a little more for a great product like our own.

“If a product is perceived to be exactly like others on the market, consumers would have no reason to buy it.” – Marketing: An Introduction, 52
